Catania Crib

The Catania Crib brings together gentle curves, warm natural wood and refined detailing in a design created to complement an elegant nursery. Its distinctive oval-inspired silhouette is defined by softly rounded ends, where vertically fluted ivory panels introduce texture and architectural character. Contrasting walnut rails and slender vertical spindles establish a graceful rhythm across the open sections, creating a beautiful dialogue between solid surfaces and delicate linear elements. A continuous ivory-toned upper rim follows the curved outline, while subtly tapered wooden legs elevate the structure and give it a lighter appearance. The combination of rich walnut tones and soft ivory finishes creates a balanced composition that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Named after Catania, the historic Sicilian city celebrated for its architectural richness and Mediterranean charm, the crib reflects a sense of warmth, heritage and understated sophistication. Its harmonious proportions and contrasting materials offer a modern interpretation of classic furniture craftsmanship, bringing a distinctive design identity to the nursery. The rounded silhouette softens the surrounding space, while the carefully composed wooden elements create an inviting visual presence. Designed to sit beautifully alongside refined nursery furnishings, the Catania Crib combines sculptural elegance with a calm, welcoming aesthetic, creating a thoughtful centrepiece for a child’s earliest surroundings.
